After many years of visits to hospital for UVB treatment I can now treat myself at home with this product. Rather than time spent in 3-times a week visits I can get relief and save myself time and the NHS some money.I found that even after 10 days there is visible improvement. I started with 1 minute or less and gradually built up daily to 3 minutes or less if redness appears.Why did it take so long for me to find this relief? Not a cure obviously but a tremendous help for my scaley feet, athletes foot and dry skin.Well worth the outlay.Thank you Androv

I have had Psorasis since I was a child and now find that most treatments no longer give any real relief. The exception is when I have undergone UVB light treatment three times a week at my local hospital. However there is usually a waiting list to go back on treatment and it is hard to fit in appointment times with work. A solution for me was to order the UVB lamp and use it at home. I have had the unit for about three weeks and have already seen an improvement in my psorasis. I use an emollient cream prior to treatment to allow the rays to more eaisly penetrate my skin and gradually increased the time I used the unit for each day. I have to move the unit around to cover different parts of my body and time these (up to 3 minutes now as fair skinned). I did not find the digital timer which came separately with the unit to be useful as I could not get it to work and purchased my own timer. I would recommend this for anyone for whom UVB light treatment has worked in the past. Very easy to use and very convienient compared to going to hospital for treatment.
