I bought it for my wife who struggles with SAD syndrome and this has helped enormously for her. It is well made and feels substantial in it's construction. The use of a dimmer switch is also a useful feature.

I was bought this therapy lamp as a Christmas present several years ago, and had only used it a few times as I felt very well then. I have the INNOSOL MESA 160 MEGA BRIGHT THERAPY LAMP. However, this Winter I had been feeling quite lethargic, and having little or no appetite, and I have not been very cheerful. So,this year I have used it daily to help me with the dark and dismal Winter weather, following on from the poor,2012 Summer.I can honestly say that after just 7 days of using the lamp for 30 minutes daily, over breakfast, that I have started to feel much more alive. I have felt happier, and been able to achieve a lot more. I have definitely been suffering from Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD).I am going to continue with my daily light therapy until the better weather arrives, hopefully in March.
