I've had mine a couple of years. You should see a difference after one or 2 goes with it on the stronger current. You need to use it regularly to keep the changes though. My forehead lines smooth out on the first go when I've not used it for a few week.as you get older & the knotted brow & drooping cheeks in lines from the side of your nose - it pulls these features back up. I'm not sure if it would do anything for a say 30 year old with a few lines but when you get that strained look etched on your features this item softens your whole face to look more youthful.use as often as you can & then some. each round takes just 5 mins. No staying sat in one place until it's finished I work at my computer wash-up anything like that it doesn't impede at all. If you wear glasses & want to read you need to fit them low on your nose or find your own way to accommodate themIt can feel like it hurts on the stronger current try to read or take your mind off that because the more you feel it the more effects you'll see.. It's worth it!Jan

I live in the United States, so the replacement pads are going to be very expensive. I thought they were already high priced , but now add international shipping and I'll be supporting a Safetox habit! The device itself is nicely made and not inconvenient at all. You can move around and do your house work as you wear it. However, I ended up having to use medical grade tape to anchor the pads so they wouldn't slide down. Actually laying down is best, but I'm a busy Mom.After one month use the only difference I see is right after the treatment. The ll lines are smoother. And it only last about an hour. I hope that this gadget produces better long range results. Because for the same price I could have gotten Botox for the year. I'm hoping that the Satetox will do at least half of what Botox does.I'm not sure yet if I made a wise investment. I gave it three stars because the vote is yet to be cast.

I bought this after seeing rave reviews on beauty forums and have to agree with the positive comments; I have only been using ine for just over a month but have seen already seen results.At 40 years of age, my frown lines were becoming etched onto my face, not helped by the fact that I have very strong muscles there, so I frown without being aware of it. I don't want to use botox because the results fade after about 4 months, which could work out as very expensive in the long run. Plus I don't want a waxy, unnatural forehead. I still want to frown, just not so strongly.The Safetox seemed like a good alternative, and so far, I think it is. I used mine for a week and noticed that when not frowning, my lines were still there but faint - you could just make them out. After about three weeks I stopped using it for a week as life got very hectic, and when I checked the mirror a few days later, I was horrified to see the old lines come back. What shocked me was not that they were there but how deep and strong they looked. I had gotten used my new, relaxed look, and this helped illustrate to me how bad they were before.I have been back to using this gadget for the past few days, and the lines are relaxed and much fainter again. I hope with continued use, the temporary effect becomes more permanent.In all I am happy to recommend this product.
