I'm 30 and so don't have deep wrinkles but I do have fine lines around my eyes and some uneven skintone due to living in a hot and sunny climate for the last ten years. My skin also tends to become quite dry and flaky in areas. I'd read quite a bit about AHA products before deciding to buy this lotion and was keep to see if they would improve my skin.This product contains a fairly low amount of glycolic acid (5%) and so is well suited to those new to AHA exfoliation or those with more sensitive skin. The Ph of 3 allows the product to exfoliate effectively and the product is a light gel cream contained in a very good pump container. I use this every night and find that about 3 pumps is the right amount. The bottle looked tiny when i first opened the package but after a month I still have around two thirds left so I feel that it's quite good value for money. I've been using this religiously for the last month and I have to say, although it obviously isn't a miracle worker (but what product is?), my skin is definitely looking better. The overall texture has improved, my pores are slightly reduced and my skin looks quite 'glowy' and refined. I haven't used any other scrubs or exfoliants in the meantime and yet I haven't seen any flaking or rough patches at all, in fact my skin looks more even than it has for a long time. I usually get the occasional spot especially during the winter but I've noticed improvement there too, I think that this lotion must be doing a good job at keeping my pores clean.because I'd only ever used facial scrubs I was a little worried that this product would burn my skin, but really it is very gentle and I think it is probably not nearly as harsh as scrubbing or microdermabrasion. It's fragrance free and doesn't burn at all, the only time I felt anything was a slight tingling after the first application but it wasn't at all unpleasant.I'm hoping that with continued use my uneven skintone will improve further and I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a gentle, effective exfoliant. Remember that AHA products leave your skin more susceptible to sun damage so it's essential that you wear a good sunscreen during the day, or the sun damage you're trying to get rid of when using the product will only get worse! I recently bough Clinique's City Block factor 25 and have found it to be very good - unperfumed and doesn't irritate my skin. Derma E's beauty fluid has been a great find for me and I doubt I'll ever go back to my old facial scrubs now that I've discovered it.
