I read all the reviews both UK and US reviews before I bought this given the cost of it. I also took into account that this product has been awarded Best Beauty Buy in its category by various women's magazines. Anyway the percentage of good reviews was so high I went ahead and took the risk and now wish I hadn't wasted my money. When you spend this much on something it is easy to think you see improvements because you want to - you are so keen to validate your decision to spend that amount so i decided I would persevere for a whole month using it on only one side of my face whilst sticking to my old cleansing routine on the other side. I figured this was a good as a controlled trial as i could get for comparison seeing as how it was my skin on both sides of my face! Taking into account severity and number of blemishes, sizes of pores etc I'm afraid to report there is no difference. This included examining the skin in a magnifying mirror in direct outside daylight. Just wanted to pass this information on so that hopefully it will save other folks wasting their money on it. If anything changes or improves with continued use I will update this review to ensure fairness to the product.

I have sensitive skin that often gets flakey but which also gets over exfoliated too easily with scrubs and even a face flannel. The clarisonic never over-exfoliates but gets my skin smooth and makes my mineral makeup go on much better. If you have skin like mine then the brush it comes with will be exfoliation enough, and I may even purchase the extra sensitive brush for when my skin is hypersensitised. it's also gets makeup off much better than with my makeup remover alone. I did ditch the cleanser it came with (although it didn't make my skin react, I noticed my skin preferred Simple face wash).It lasts me about a week of use between charges.Having seen the results on my face I kind of wish I'd bought the one that works on the body too, but maybe I wouldn't use that every day like I currently do with the smaller and lighter mia, and from reviews the full clarisonic needs to be charged in a stand, not with the magnetic clip on charger.

The first one sent didn't work but the company quickly changed it. After an Inital break out of spots, I'm now using it alternate days. Wish I could say I have noticed a difference but after 3 weeks not really Maybe I was quite good and cleaning my skin before. Anyway, I like the concept and sure it freshens up the dermis - somehow!
