I bought the tria hairremoval device first and think it really works. Then I decided to give the blue light a go.To start with, if I treat my face with non-oily products, I have none or few breakouts, so might not be the best candidate for the tria.I used the tria bluelight for 26 days, twice a day as recommended, but nothing changed. I still had a break out every one and than. I thought I even might have had one or the other breakout I normally wouldn't have.I decided to return the device within the 30 days you can give it back. I called the tria centre beforehand and they were extremely friendly, even recommanded to return the device if ther is no difference visible after this time.I gave tria bluelight 3 stars because the device is user friendly, the service is really fair and helpful.Eventhough it did not help me, it might someone else.

I bought this direct from Tria as I had a discount code but I used reviews here and on amazon.com in deciding whether to go ahead so thought I would come back & share my experiences (shame that some of those reviews appear to have been deleted, or maybe I saw them elsewhere!).I've suffered from acne + rosacea on & off for years now - the acne would probably only be rated as mild to moderate but combined with the rosacea made me pretty miserable. I'd previously been prescribed antibiotics which fixed the acne for a couple of years but the awful side effects were such that I really couldn't face another course. So for me although Tria isn't a cheap product I figured with the money back guarantee I had absolutely nothing to lose.The other reason I went for Tria over other products is that it appeared to have the shortest daily treatment time (2 x 3mins) - I didn't want to have to make too much time for it - and that also implied to me that it was a stronger more effective product. Which also implies more care required. It's worth noting that as part of my research I found an FAQ somewhere on the Tria website I think that said it shouldn't be used on rosacea, but as I only had a small patch on one cheek (tho also the worst acne!), and acne on all parts of my face I decided to risk it anyway.2 weeks in it was definitely a bit worse but mostly down to the rosacea being irritated I think. I tweaked my usage so I wasn't spending as much time on that area and used some anti-inflammatory stuff on it and plenty of good moisturiser and it soon came under control. By the end of the month there was definite improvement and after 6 weeks I stopped using it.6 weeks later I'm now using it again as my cheek needed a bit more attention, but only for 1-2mins at a time as there's not really anything needing treating. I'm currently toying with whether to order a new cartridge yet (one of the few downsides that they only have 2 months worth of treatment time) as I now only have 50 mins left, but really I don't think I'll need all that this time.The only really annoying thing about it (and why I dropped a star) is the battery life - on full treatments it needs a recharge at on day 4, so another charger to pack if you're going away.Overall my skin is much much clearer - spots now very much a rarity, plus a great reduction in blackheads & clogged pores and my skin just feels so much better as well as looking better. So for me it was well worth it particularly if I don't need to resort to antibiotics again

I've suffered from Acne on and off ever since my teens. I've tried every drug/cream under the sun and nothing seems to really clear it up. I was very sceptical about trying this product, I was also a little scared and I'm not one for harsh cosmetic treatments. That said I've been more than happy with the results. They didn't happen overnight but slowly and surely my acne has started to clear up and my skin is so much brighter.It's also really simple to use. The best option for me was to use the device for three minutes in the morning and then again at night. But you can just use it for 6 minutes in one go. I'd also recommend charging it as often as possible. A month in and I'm very happy with the results, totally worth every penny!
