and that is only the bottle!This is a beautiful fragrance albeit a fairly 'heavy' one perhaps more suited to evening wear. However, I am of the opinion that if you like the smell of something, you should wear it when you want so I wear this perfume morning, noon and night. The notes in this fragrance are woody and floral with a lot of Patchouli coming through when the fragrance warms up. (You can always tell if there is a lot of this essential oil in a perfume as it lingers on your body for ages and also on your clothes).Although this fragrance is in the Poison family and shares the same iconic bottles as Poison, Hynotic Poison and Pure Poison it is in a very different league..........dark and seductive, like the bottle it is beautifully packaged in.I have had many comments passed about this perfume and most of them have come from men who seem to adore it. Many women have asked me what I am wearing as well but a girl should keep some things secret!

There is something dark, mysterious and seductive in this very feminine 'midnight' perfume by Christian Dior. Created by François Demachy, Dior's perfumer-creator, this amazing fragrance is one of the 'Poison' family, much lighter compared to the original and very extravagant Poison but still very unique, warm, and rich. The dominant scent is the intoxicating black rose combined with the warmth of amber and patchouli.It only takes a few drops of this extraordinary Eau de Parfum to last all day. Although this is perfect for evening wear, I really don't think that it is too much for the mornings, especially in winter. However if you love this perfume but you would prefer something more discrete for the mornings, the excellent moisturizing Christian Dior Midnight Poison Satin Body Milk 200ml, leaves the skin soft and lightly perfumed. There is also the excellent Midnight Poison by Christian Dior Bath & Shower Gel 200ml to compete the set.In addition, the dark blue glass bottle looks so precious and mysterious, that it is the perfect bottle for this perfume.
